Strainer Types Overview

Strainers can filter fluids, gases and steam and be applied to protect various parts in a pipe. Compressors, nozzels, orifices, valves, recuperator, measuring devices and pumps can reliably protected against dirt and particles.

For the different installation needs and requirements various strainer types are available:

Strainer with Flange in PN16

A reasonable strainer to filter fluids and gases available in many filterfiness from stock

Strainer with Flange in ANSI, PN25, PN40

The Y-type strainer with a large filter area and a small pressure loss

Y-Type Strainer Screwed

Strainer with a screwed connection to the pipe is available up to 136 bar

Y-Type Strainer Socket Weld

The strainer with the stable connection to the pipe is available up to 136 bar

Single Basket Strainer

For a toolfree opening with quick release with a large filter area and a small pressure drop

Duplex Strainer

The two integrated chambers allow an interruption free process flow

T-Type or Bath Tub Strainer

The bath tub strainer is available from DN50 (2") up to DN1200 (48") and from 150 LB to 2500 LB

Temporay Strainer

Clamped between two flanges these strainer types will be used at start up phase and after revision

Stainless Steel Strainer

For deionized or demineralised wateralkaline, boiler feed water, acid or alcaline medium various filter types are available
