Temporary Strainer
 | Temporary Strainers are designed for temporary or short periods of operation, for example during commissioning and initial start up periods of new or reconditioned process lines to remove any coarse debris such as rags, welding rods, pipe scale, rust etc., accidentally or unavoidably pre-sent within a system. Temporary Strainers are very easy to install and just as easy to remove between two flanges in a pipeline system. Temporary Strainers are manufactured of a perforated plate with a welded collar. The collar is used for the fixation of the strainer between two flanges in a pipeline. The medium should flow from the outside to the inside. Y-Type Strainer
 | The Y-Type Strainer is the most common and economical type of strainer for permanent applications, suitable for liquid, steam and gas mediums. Due to the compact and low weight construction the easy and quick cleaning are Y-Type Strainers used in manifold manners. Other advantages of the Y-Type Strainers are the large filtration area, which provides a high filtration capacity and low pressure loss. The Y-Strainers consists of a housing with opposite arranged in- and outlet flanges at the same level. Between these connections is a basket strainer made of a perforated plate, optionally covered with a cloth consisting of various materials and mesh widths. The medium to be filtered will enter the filter from the inside to the outside. Hence, the contaminations will remain within the strainer insert. The Y-Strainer could be depressurizing through the venting or draining devices. After removing of the flap the complete basket strainer could be easily removed out of the filter housing. Now the strainer can be cleaned by blowing out or blasting using compressed air, steam, or water. If necessary, the strainer should be soaked and cleaned using a suitable agent. Possibly, an optimal cleaning will be obtained using ultrasonic. Y-Strainer can be installed both in the horizontal and vertical positions without any effect on performance. Mono-in-Line Strainer
 | Mono-In-Line Strainers (Mono Basket Strainer) offer a larger filtration area than similar strainers on the market, ensuring minimal pressure loss, improved flow-rates and greater dirt holding capacity, leading on longer service / maintenance intervals. The Mono-In-Line Strainer consists of a cast housing with opposite connecting flanges arranged at the same level. Between these connections is the basket strainer with carrying strap located. The filter insert consists of a perforated plate, alternatively covered with cloths having different mesh widths. The medium to be filtered will enter the filter from above and flows through the insert from the inside to the outside. Hence, the contaminations will remain within the strainer insert. Duplex-Strainer
 | Duplex strainers can be used in a versatile manner to filter coarse and fine particles. They are used in many liquid system applications. The main advantage of this design is that the two filter chamber construction allows continuous operation without any shut down for cleaning the component, unlike Y-Type or Mono In Line Type, which must be isolated from the process for maintenance. Other advantages of the DUPLEX - strainers are the large filtration area, which provides a high filtration capacity and low pressure drop, as well as quick and easy access for cleaning. The change-over between online and standby is achieved by utilising the integral valve system, controlled by a single lever. The DUPLEX strainer is a single housing assembly with an opposing Inlet- and Outlet flange. Each housing assembly comprises 2 identical filter chambers bolted to a central ball valve diverter chamber. By operation of a single lever, the flow can be diverted from one filter chamber to the second filter chamber without any need of flow interruption. This enables the operator to clean either basket without any requirement to take the system off-line. Housed in each filter chamber is basket strainer made of a perforated plate, optionally covered with a wire-cloth consisting of various materials and mesh widths. The medium to be filtered flows through the basket from the inside to the outside, hence the contaminants will remain within the strainer basket upon removal from the chamber.
